Matthew 26:14Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. 16From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.
...20When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve. 21And while they were eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me."
...22They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, "Surely not I, Lord?"
23Jesus replied, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. 24The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."
25Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?"
Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."
Here comes my betrayer!"
Rise!!! Do not dismay, Rise up!!! you are blessed with Judas in the house. Look at the way that Jesus identifies Judas, "here comes my betrayer." Jesus had his personal betrayer, and you too!
Send your betrayer to do what he needs to do, and like Jesus keep silence. Let him do his association with the religious system, Jesus thought him not to follow. Let him be covered by the mantle of religion!
Let him go after money, instead after Jesus feet. Let him believe that he is better without you. Let him believe that he have increased without your help; while you like John the Baptist decide to decrease and be decapitated by his tongue. For when you decrease, God power in you increases, when you appears to stealers and merchants of the Word, to be weak and of no value, you are strong in Jesus's power. When you are decapitated, you have died to your own ways, and will resurrect to be one with Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!!!
Let Judas go and do... He need to do his own things, he needs to make an exchange of precious Jesus for power and position, friendship and love for power and control. Let Judas do... and while he betrays you, rest in your Gethsemane! Wait and see for you know what is coming !!!
Rejoice! You are near to see the glory of God over your life and ministry!!!
48Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him."
49Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him.
50Jesus replied, "Friend, do what you came for."
Judas kiss you, your betrayer kiss you, while he thinks he is sending you to prison. Jesus replied to Judas "friend..." Jesus heart was broken. He said friend, He could remember the days they laugh together and walked talking about the Merciful God the Father. Jesus loved His friend, even knowing that His friend will betrayed Him. Jesus knew, like I knew what was coming.
"Friend, do what you came for."
Let Judas do... let him do what he came to do ... while you are being betrayed, let Judas enjoy his moment, his victory. When the crowd scream with Judas: "Crucify him!!!" Remember, you are sharing in Christ's sufferings and you will share in his glory!!! Amen
1Early in the morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people came to the decision to put Jesus to death. 2They bound him, led him away and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.
3When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders. 4"I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." "What is that to us?" they replied. "That's your responsibility."
5So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.6The chief priests picked up the coins and said, "It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money." 7So they decided to use the money to buy the potter's field as a burial place for foreigners. 8That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day. 9Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "They took the thirty silver coins, the price set on him by the people of Israel, 10and they used them to buy the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me."
Jesus felt sorry for His friend Judas, he knew what was coming to his friend, for Judas was guilt, remorse and destruction. That is why Jesus recommend us to pray for those that persecute us and those that we identify as betrayers.
Your betrayer, your personal Judas will disappear of your life and you will resurrect in glory!!! Because Judas was send as Satan messenger to do his works, and all will work for your own good as God has promised to His chosen ones!!!
Because, when we have the Victory in Jesus Christ!!! There is nothing that Judas can do, All he could done, all the losses and pain he created, were necessary to make in your body the marks of Jesus. Rejoice !!!
John 20:25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."
Galatians 6:17 "Finally, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit,... Amen."
